Playtime with Daddy

Jack had fun playing with Daddy last weekend. Grandma and Grandpa gave him these blocks for Christmas, so we decided to pull them out. Jack has fun knocking the blocks down after someone else builds them up.

What To Do?

Jack and I spend a lot of time at the house by ourselves, so I have to get creative when I want to get things, like laundry, done. So what do I do? Put Jack in the laundry basket of course!

Lounging Around on a Monday...

Mark and I both had off on MLK day, so we decided to lounge around the house. Jack started out his morning by doing a little reading...

He made his way over to the magazine basket so he could look at all of his options...

He decided to go with the newspaper.

What's going on in the world, Jack?

What a good boy! He already knows to put away what he gets out!

Later in the day, he spent some time in the Baby Bjorn so he could help Daddy around the house.

For dinner, he got to try some noodles for the first time.

Saturday Fun

Last Saturday we had a great time hanging around the house and playing with Jack. He cracks us up all day long with the new things he is learning and discovering!

Happy New Year!

Better late than never on our New Years post! We spent New Years Eve with the Husligs, and Jack and Makenna enjoyed spending the last few hours of 2010 together.

The evening started out with a little playtime...

And then a little dinner. Makenna was nice enough to share a cookie with Jack. I think he's a big fan!

Next, Makenna showed Jack how the noisemaker worked.

These two were so happy to ring in the new year together! They celebrated on European time.

A Lazy, Snowy Day

We had a wonderful lazy Sunday last week. It rained all morning, and then the rain turned into snow. We had a great time just lounging around the house and playing with Jack!

We headed outside for a few minutes just to get some pictures...

Then it was back inside to play. Jack has just discovered crawling on all fours. I looked around the corner of the island and saw this little stinker digging in the basket!

Then he decided to make a move towards the camera.

There's nothing sweeter than that little face!

Jack loves to spend time with Ellie these days. We're not so sure if Ellie feels the same...

We Have a Splasher!

Jack has discovered the fun of splashing the water in the tub! Here's an after bath picture. Jack is happy and I am wet- so fun to watch him discover new things!

Merry Christmas, Part 3

On the day after Christmas, we hopped in the car and headed to San Angelo. We all had a great time with Grandma, Grandpa, and the Houston Ellisons.

Jack wasted no time getting on the floor and crawling around!
