4th of July, Part 2

Here is part two of our fun 4th of July weekend!

Gaga bought fun, new beach balls for Jack and Makenna. They had a good time throwing them around the front yard while we snapped a few pictures.

Jack had some more gazing time with Gaga. He's so sweet with her.

4th of July Fun, Part 1

For the 4th of July, we headed to Kansas with the Husligs. Here is Part 1 of the pictures...

Mall Time

Last week, Jack and I went to the Galleria to meet up with Meghan and Makenna. We let the two little ones run around the play area, and Jack had so much fun!

While we were waiting for Makenna, Jack had some time to walk around. I know this picture is blurry, but give that boy a cell phone, and he's so happy!

He had fun watching other kids run around and climb on everything.

Jack loved to spin this around and watch the sand inside shift and move.

Whew! All that playing can make a guy tired. Time for a little lounging...

And on to San Antonio

Hold on blog followers- big post today! After our time in Seguin, Jack and I headed to San Antonio with Meme, Pop, and Ian. Grandma Vicky and Grandpa Don celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, so the whole family met up for a weekend-long party. Mark flew down after work on Friday to meet us. Here's some highlights from our weekend on the Riverwalk...

First stop- the pool! The pool was on the roof of the hotel, so it was a great view while lounging. Jack is surveying the water from a distance.

After pool and nap time, we went to dinner on the Riverwalk.

Jack enjoyed the musicians that came and played at our table.

On Saturday, we went back out to the river to get some family photos.

I love this one!

The photos were done before lunch, so we gathered in the hotel lobby to walk to the market and get a bite to eat. This is one of my favorite pictures from the weekend!

For dinner, we ate on a river boat. Lots of fun!

It was HOT, so Jack kept his fan close.

50 years! That is impressive!

Back to the hotel for cake and more maraca shaking!

One of Jack's favorite things to do in the hotel room was to stand and look out the window.

Spending some time with MeMe before we had to leave on Sunday.

We stopped in Austin to have lunch on the way home. It was a busy, but very fun weekend!!
