Flying the Airplane

Jack is WAY into airplanes, and Mark has one that he can wind up and let fly. Jack loves to sit in the Cozy Coupe and watch the action. He squeals and laughs and has the best time!

Fun With New Toys

Jack was a very lucky boy and got a lot of great new toys for Christmas! He got this wheelbarrow from MeMe, Pop, and Uncle Ian. We set it up while he was down for a nap, and he was surprised and happy to see it when he woke up!

A Beautiful Day at the Park

Like I mentioned in my last post, we have been having beautiful weather lately! After all of the Ellisons left after their visit, we loaded up Jack and Ellie and walked to a park down by the creek. It has swings, a rope jungle gym, and a bridge that goes over the creek. We all had a great time being outside and playing together!

We ended our trip to the park with some playtime in the water fountain.

Ellison Family Fun!

On December 26, the San Angelo and Houston Ellisons invaded Dallas! They were all here from Monday to Friday, and we fit in a lot of fun things. It doesn't look like we did much, but with all that was going on, I didn't remember to pull the camera out very often. We had walks to the park, lunch and shopping for the girls, a trip to REI for the boys, kayaking at White Rock, and tons of great food! Here are a few highlights...

Each morning started in the living room on the air mattress with Grandma Linda and Grandpa Roger.

And some new slippers that look like duck feet, among other things.

The three cousins had a great time playing together!

The weather was BEAUTIFUL all week, so the kiddos had fun going to the park, riding in the cozy coupe and wagon, playing on the slide and in the sandbox.

A Trip to Santa's Workshop

I'm working backwards, but we took a trip to see Santa the week before Christmas. We waited a LONG time in line, but Jack had fun looking around and playing with Makenna.

While we waited in one more little line to see Santa, Jack decided to just have a seat and read a little in the brochure they gave us- ha!

Gaga and her babies- they have changed SO much over the last year and a half!

We stood inside a little dome with fake snow that fell, and the kiddos had fun playing in it.
