Howdy folks, welcome to the State Fair of Texas!

We went for our annual fair trip with the Husligs and had a great time! Jack enjoyed riding rides, eating a corny dog and ice cream, and seeing Big Tex.

We're lucky we got a picture with Big Tex when we did.  He burned down just a week later.

Playtime with Makenna

The Husligs came over for dinner a couple of weeks ago, so I bought some fun fall stuff for Jack and Makenna to do. They painted pumpkins and made Halloween cookies. It was a fun night!

Fall Decorating

After our visit to the nursery for pumpkins, it was time to decorate the front porch. Jack was quite the helper!

Picking Pumpkins

We went to the nursery yesterday to pick pumpkins for our front porch. Jack loved looking at all of them, and he was very helpful when we needed to put the tiny pumpkins on our cart. He is so excited about everything, and he is going to be so much fun this fall / Halloween!

While looking at these gourds, we heard him say, "Wow!  Look how beautiful!"
