Seguin Weekend, Part 2

Happy Birthday to Uncle Ian!

Ian turned 5 last week, so we headed to Seguin to help him celebrate! He had his party at the Children's Museum in New Braunfels, and Jack had a great time playing and crawling all around. He was happy to help his uncle celebrate his birthday! I'll do another post soon with the rest of the pictures from the weekend.

Jack loved the big blocks in this play area. He has so much fun when I build them up and he knocks them down.

He was loving the fish aquarium- he would laugh and squeal as the fish swam by!

Of course he loved this place- it's called the McKenna museum! (Even though we know it's not spelled the same!)

Silly Sleeper

Lately, Jack has been cracking us up with the way he falls asleep for his naps. Looks like he's ready for a pillow!

He talks and talks in there, and then it looks like he just gives in to sleep!

You can't tell, but on this day, he actually fell asleep sitting up- so cute!

And Snow Days...

After it iced last week, we got about 6 inches of snow. This was our first big snowfall since Jack was born, so we of course had to get outside and let him see it!

Ice Days...

We had ice and snow last week and there was no school for four days! We all enjoyed some extra days at home playing and trying to stay warm. Here's a look at some of our week...

Jack did a little reading...

And hanging around with Daddy.

He got to ride around on the dinosaur.

Rather than play with all the toys he has, he chose to play with the remote control.

We did a lot of exploring, such as looking to see what's under the rug.

Jack was also very interested on what we keep on top of the coffee table. He's been practicing pulling himself up on it!

My water bottle made a fun toy.

After several days in the house, it was time to get out! Jack just needed to make a quick call on his cell phone...

I wonder who he was calling. I'm thinking Makenna! ;)

Birthday Week!

We have had a week of birthdays here at the Ellison household! First was my birthday on Tuesday and then Mark's on Thursday. I took a few pictures of Jack to send to Daddy on his birthday...

This boy looks like he has something up his sleeve...

This is the face I picture him making when he digs into his first piece of birthday cake! (On a side note, he has learned how to pull himself up in his crib!)
