We had a great last day in Boston. The morning was cloudy and by afternoon the rain had moved in for the rest of the day. We walked all over the city and saw a lot of fun stuff.
We spent the morning walking the second half of The Freedom Trail. Jack is very into bunny ears for pictures now (Uncle Ian taught this to him when he came to stay with us for a week!).
Walking through the city with Daddy.
Boston's Old State Meeting House.
Silly boy!
We found a street performer just starting his show when we got to Faneuil Hall. Jack had fun watching all of his crazy stunts.
We stopped for lunch at the Union Oyster House, the oldest restaurant in America.
After finishing what we wanted to do on the Freedom Trail, it started to rain. We decided to wait out some of the storm at the Bell in Hand Tavern, the oldest bar in America, built in 1795.
When we decided the rain was not likely to go away, we chose to walk to the New England Aquarium. This is a view of the harbor on the gray day.
This is how Jack spent the first hour at the aquarium.
He was very excited to see the fish when he woke up!
We walked to Boson's North End for dinner. We ate at a delicious Italian restaurant and then headed to JP Licks for one more ice cream cone.
We walked back through the Public Gardens to get back to our hotel and happened to catch the Make Way for Ducklings statues without any people crawling on them.
Jack loved being able to have them all to himself!
Last night in Boston... we had a GREAT time!
