Colorado Trip- Days 9 and 10

After a wonderful week in Breckenridge, it was time to head back to Texas. We made the same trip as before, stopping halfway in Dalhart. Jack was once again a great traveler. While it's always sad when vacations end, we were excited to get back home!

Our last morning in Colorado.

We walked to the pond to throw one last rock in the water.

Back on Texas soil!

A day of driving wore this guy out!

We went out to eat, played in the pool, and got in bed nice and early.

Making a phone call on Sunday morning before heading back to Dallas.

Jack also wanted to visit the horses before we loaded up in the car.

So excited to have been on an awesome trip!  We are very lucky we got to spend the whole week together in a beautiful place!

Colorado Trip- Day 8

This was our last full day in Breckenridge. We went into town to eat breakfast, back to the house for naptime, then into town one last time to play and eat dinner. The weather was so beautiful all week, and it was a treat to spend so much time outside!

After seeing them all week, Jack finally decided he wanted to pet the horses that pulled the carriage down Main St.

That is one tired little boy.  After a visit to the crepe stand, we went back home to pack and get rested for our trip back to Texas.

Colorado Trip- Day 7

We woke up on Thursday ready to go eat breakfast. We went outside, got in the car, and found that the battery was dead. We had the house caretaker come jump the car for us, and we went into a little town called Fairplay to buy a new battery. We got back to the house in time for a nap and then went into Breckenridge to play for a bit. Definitely not what we thought the day would look like, but it was still fun!

Back in town for the afternoon- we had a little rain and this boy was ready!

Yogurt time.  The lady working the counter said Jack would be a great advertisement for their place.

"Hey, what's Dad doing?"

"Whoa!  He took a bite of my yogurt!"

We remembered to bring Jack's crocs into town this day, so he was finally able to get into the water and wade around.

Back at the house, and Jack of course wanted to play on the couch.

Even Daddy does flips onto the couch!

"Mommy, I watch this movie."

One more look outside before it's time to head to bed.
